Dave Kaufman has extensive work experience in the media and technology industry. Dave started their career as a freelancer, working as a Director, Videographer, and Editor. Dave then joined Beth Melsky Casting as an IT Technician, Studio Manager, and Editor. Dave also worked as a Post Production Technician at VOX Media and as a Freelance Fabricator at Fabrication.

In 2013, Dave joined Time Inc. as a Freelance Technical Director, where they directed live shows and maintained video infrastructure for various properties. Dave also worked at Financial Times as a Video Technical Operator.

Dave's next role was at Vox Media, Inc., where they served as a Solutions Engineer, developing and instituting creative initiatives for content producers. Later, they became the Technical Operations Manager, overseeing technical and engineering staff and implementing advanced technologies and archive philosophies for the Vox Media Studio team.

From 2018 to 2021, Dave worked at T2 Computing Inc. as a Solutions Architect, designing and implementing new infrastructure and technologies for global media and entertainment clients. Dave also specialized in Media Asset Management buildouts.

In 2021, Dave joined Quantum, where they worked as a Solutions Architect, designing and scoping workflows for media and entertainment clients on a global scale.

Most recently, Dave is serving as the Interim VP of Production/Post Production/Operations/Technology at TubeScience, where they are responsible for leading multiple teams and customizing workflows with new and emerging technologies to enhance global media workflows. Additionally, they hold the position of VP of Technology, driving technological advancements and making media workflows more efficient and user-friendly.

Dave Kaufman received a B.A. in Sculpture from Pratt MWP in 2008, and later completed a B.F.A in Film and Video from Pratt Institute in 2011.
