Alfonso Lopez

Alfonso Lopez has extensive work experience in the software engineering industry. Alfonso is currently the Head of Software Engineering at tubular.network since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at iStreamPlanet/Warner Media from January 2018 to February 2023. Alfonso was also the Owner of Velopez Bike Fit, an independent bike fitting studio in Seattle, from April 2013 to October 2019. In addition, they have held positions such as Senior Mobile Engineer at Disney Interactive from September 2016 to January 2018, Founder/Head Engineer at Velopez Digital LLC from February 2014 to November 2017, Senior Developer at MapMyFitness - Under Armour Connected Fitness from February 2015 to March 2016, SDE at Microsoft from November 2011 to February 2014, SDE/T at thePlatform from November 2009 to July 2011, and SDE/T at Amazon from January 2006 to May 2009. Alfonso also served as a Board Member on the Seattle Bicycle Advisory Board from September 2012 to September 2014.

Alfonso Lopez attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2001 to 2006, where they studied Computer Science. Alfonso holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin. In 2017, they obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services.
