Philip Cottis has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Philip is currently working as a Strategic Projects Lead at Tumelo, where they are responsible for leading product definition, commercial assessments, and customer analysis for Tumelo's pass-through voting solution. Prior to this, they were a Special Projects Lead at Freetrade, where they defined product strategy and drove the delivery of new product launches and strategic priorities in areas such as crypto, securities lending, international expansion, and payments.

Philip also worked at Hargreaves Lansdown, where they held multiple roles including Digital Strategy Lead and Strategic Innovation Lead. In these positions, they assessed digital threats and opportunities, shaped strategies, and led innovation initiatives. Philip was also a Business Analyst at Hargreaves Lansdown, leading analysis work on projects such as the Lifetime ISA.

Before joining Hargreaves Lansdown, Philip worked as a Business Analyst at IPL, where they served various clients including Serco, RSPCA, and Arriva Trains. Philip also had brief stints as a Business Analyst at RSPCA, Serco, and ATOC.

Philip started their career as a Visiting International Research Student at Mawson Institute.

Throughout their career, Philip has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a focus on innovation and driving business outcomes.

Philip Cottis obtained their MChem (hons) degree in Chemistry with Industrial Training from the University of Bath, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their degree, they have also acquired several certifications in business analysis from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. Philip obtained a Foundation in Business Analysis certificate in December 2014, a Certificate in Requirements Engineering in December 2015, a Certificate in Modelling Business Processes in July 2016, a Certificate in Business Analysis Practise in March 2017, and a BCS International diploma in Business Analysis in March 2018.
