Alec Knapp

Alec Knapp has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Alec is currently employed at Tune Therapeutics as a Scientist, a role they have held since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Tune Therapeutics as an Associate Scientist from February 2022 to May 2023.

Before joining Tune Therapeutics, Alec worked at Juno Therapeutics, Inc. where they held various roles. Alec was an Associate Scientist - Cellular Function from January 2022 to February 2022, a Senior Research Associate - Product Potency and Function from June 2020 to January 2022, and a Research Associate from September 2017 to July 2020.

Prior to their time at Juno Therapeutics, Alec worked as a Research Associate at Abcam from July 2016 to August 2017.

Alec's work experience also includes roles during their time at the University of San Diego. Alec worked as a Student Researcher in the USD Biology Department from August 2014 to July 2016, conducting data analysis and isolation of candidates for further analysis in the Loer molecular biology lab. Alec also served as a Student Lead at USD ITS HelpDesk from August 2014 to July 2016.

Earlier in their career, Alec worked as a Receptionist at Team Kia El Cajon from August 2013 to September 2014, and as a Facilities Technician at The Rink Exchange from September 2010 to July 2012.

Alec Knapp completed their high school education at Churchill High School from 2008 to 2012. Following this, they attended the University of San Diego from 2012 to 2016 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Chemistry.
