Dave Hammerschmidt

Dave Hammerschmidt has an extensive work experience spanning various positions and responsibilities. Dave started their career in 2001 as Director of Analytics for the US Army, where they were in charge of operational planning and employment of intelligence organizations. Dave also served as Director of Intelligence, guiding a team of 300 personnel supporting Special Forces Group operations in the Asia-Pacific region.

In 2015, Dave was appointed as the Director for Analytics and later as the Vice President for Analytics, overseeing intelligence activities for a 297-person organization across multiple locations. Dave then served as Group Chief of Staff, responsible for administrative, financial, logistic, and operational activities for the executive leadership team.

Dave joined Federal Data Systems in 2021 as Senior Vice President of Business Development. Dave played a crucial role in strategizing and developing plans to guide intelligence analysis and training efforts globally.

In the same year, Dave co-founded TurbineOne and became the Principal and Co-Founder responsible for business development. Dave built a successful business from scratch, increasing the customer following on social media by 344% and expanding the customer base by 400%. The company quickly became profitable, generating more than $25 million in revenue across multiple services, government agencies, and subordinate organizations.

Throughout their career, Dave demonstrated expertise in sales, marketing, customer service, and leadership. Their experience in the defense industry and Silicon Valley software start-up has equipped him with valuable skills and knowledge in building and growing successful businesses.

Dave Hammerschmidt's education history is as follows:

Dave earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Florida, which they attended from 1996 to 2001.

In 2011 to 2012, Dave attended the U.S. Naval War College, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in National Security and Strategic Studies. During the same period, they also obtained a Certificate in Military Joint Operations Planning and Strategy.

In 2019, Dave pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Data Analytics and Strategy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completing it in 2021.

Dave also holds various certifications related to data science, including "Data Analysis with Python," "Python Project for Data Science," "Python for Data Science, AI & Development," "Data Science Methodology," "Tools for Data Science," and "Data Science Orientation." These certifications were obtained through Coursera between 2022 and 2023.

Furthermore, Dave obtained a Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) Access from the United States Department of Defense in May 2015.
