Volkan Birol

Volkan Birol is currently the Director of Data Governance, Data Architecture & Data Engineering at Türkiye İş Bankası, where Volkan leads data governance, analytical data platforms, big data, data warehouse, and data operations. Prior to this role, Volkan served as the Big Data And Data Warehouse Manager and as a Senior Systems Architect at the same company from 2000 to 2011. Birol holds a BS degree in Statistics from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi.
