Marco Romanini

Marco Romanini has extensive work experience as a software engineer and architect, with roles in various companies and industries. Marco began their career at InterBase Inc, leading projects and implementing new technologies. Marco continued to develop their skills at Borland International and Planet ID Inc, taking on responsibilities such as program management and web development. Marco then moved on to Openwave Systems, where they focused on designing and implementing communication service provider software. After that, they worked at mbuzzy.com, SendMe, Inc., and MOKO.mobi Inc, where they served as a senior software architect and team lead, overseeing the development of mobile social products. Later, they joined SK Planet, Inc. as a software architect, responsible for designing and implementing a social music application. Most recently, Marco has been working at SchoolMessenger and Turnitin as a principal software engineer, utilizing their expertise in software development.

Marco Romanini earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from California State University, Chico, between 1986 and 1991. Marco further pursued their education at the same university, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from 1991 to 1993. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Marco completed their high school education at Leeland High School in 1986, earning a High School Diploma in General Studies. Their secondary education was completed at Richeleu Valley Regional High School, where they received a High School Diploma in General Studies from 1980 to 1985.
