Daniel Morales

Daniel Morales has a diverse work experience in various scientific roles. Daniel currently works at Turnstone Biologics as a Senior Scientist, specializing in process development. Daniel is responsible for optimizing processes through engineering runs and implementing protocols and policies in compliance with regulations. Prior to this, they worked at Stanford University School of Medicine as a Process Development and Manufacturing Scientist III.

In their previous role at Kite Pharma, Daniel served as a Cell Therapy Specialist II. Daniel manufactured Car-T cell therapies in a GMP clean room and supported regulatory audits and project management for automation of media production. At Abzena, they worked as a Manufacturing Associate, where they manufactured biologics for contracted clients. Daniel also supported process development and redesigned templates to optimize batch records and specifications.

Additionally, Daniel has had experiences at Quidel as a Production Chemist, The Loomis Company as a Claims Adjuster, Eurofins Group as a Process Development Scientist, and Penn State University as a Research Assistant. At Penn State, they conducted research on the effects of climate change on sea birds and studied the evolutionary relationships between different bird species.

Daniel Morales obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Molecular Genetics from Penn State University, completing their education from 2010 to 2014. Later, in 2020 to 2022, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Project Management from the University of Phoenix. In addition to their formal education, Daniel also holds certifications in Six Sigma: Green Belt from LinkedIn (obtained in July 2021), Project Management from the University of Phoenix (obtained in 2021), and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from LinkedIn Learning (certification details unavailable).
