Laura Healey

Laura Healey has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and biomedical engineering fields. Laura is currently employed at Turnstone Biologics as a Senior Research Associate. Prior to this, they worked at Onchilles Pharma as a Senior Research Associate II. Laura also gained experience at GPB Scientific as a Research Associate. Earlier in their career, Laura worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of California San Diego, where they focused on developing and implementing polymer-based solutions for preventing cardiac adhesion formation and studying skeletal muscle regeneration. Laura also worked as a Biomedical Engineer at Infraredx, Inc. and as a Biomedical Scientist at Draper. Laura began their career as a Biomedical Research Intern at Infraredx, Inc. Overall, their work experience demonstrates a strong background in research, development, and engineering in the biotechnology and biomedical engineering fields.

Laura Healey completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2016. Laura then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Bioengineering from the University of California San Diego from 2018 to 2020.
