Cindy Liao

Cindy Liao has extensive work experience in the field of telematics and vehicle systems. Cindy currently works as a Lead System Engineer at TuSimple since October 2021. Prior to this, they were a Senior Member Of Technical Staff - Telematics SW System Architect at Positioning Universal from February 2021 to October 2021. Before that, they held a role as a Principal Software System Architect - Vehicle Telematics at Flex from June 2019 to February 2021.

Cindy also has significant experience at CalAmp as a Senior Engineer from October 2014 to June 2019, where they played a lead role in defining and analyzing business and system requirements for telematics and connected car programs. Cindy managed multiple projects, developed vehicle simulators, and automation scripts using Vector CANalyzer/CANoe and Python.

Prior to their time at CalAmp, Cindy worked as a Telematics Lead Engineer at the Automobile Club of Southern California from December 2013 to October 2014. Cindy also gained experience at Volvo Trucks, where they held various roles including Lead Engineer from December 2012 to December 2013, Senior System Engineer from February 2008 to December 2012, and Consultant from July 2007 to February 2008.
