Jing Zhu

Jing Zhu has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Most recently, starting in 2021, they held the role of SVP Software at TuSimple. Prior to this, from 2015 to 2020, Jing was the General Manager of the Fintech Division at VIP.com, where they built and managed the technology-driven division that provided online financial products to over 200 million users.

From 2009 to 2014, Jing served as the CTO of Shanda Online, the technology platform for Shanda Group, where they led the technology team and provided various platform technologies.

Before that, from 2001 to 2009, Jing worked at Yahoo, where they held the role of Sr. Director of Engineering, leading the Keystone team in developing and launching a successful contextual ad-matching technology platform.

Jing's earlier experiences include working as an Engineering Manager at Zaffire, Director of Engineering at Visto, and a Scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from 1993 to 1998.

Jing Zhu holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. in Physics from Fudan University. The specific years of study for both degrees are not provided.
