Operations Associate at Tutored by Teachers

Camille LuSane has worked in the education field since 2009. Camille began their career as an Operations Project Coordinator with the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS). In this role, they facilitated and managed the Extended School Year Program 2010 by hiring and training staff of 350, assisting Principals in coordinating sites/staff assignments, and overseeing fiscal aspects of the program. Camille then joined the Newark-Montclair Urban Teacher Residency as a Resident Teacher. Here, they co-taught 10 2nd and 3rd grade students with multiple disabilities in a self-contained classroom and implemented the Wilson Reading Program among four levels of students. In 2013, they became a Teacher for Newark Public Schools, where they co-planned Common Core State Standards instruction with Social Studies Department team members for 3 World and 2 U.S. 1 high school Camille'story courses. In 2016, they became a Teacher for the American School of Puerto Vallarta, where they delivered small group distance learning instruction via Google Classroom and Zoom. In 2020, they joined Vivvi as an Education Coach, where they provided tailored, Common Core-aligned instruction online to individual students in third grade, tracked data and reported skills, concepts, and activities covered, as well as student progress on a weekly basis. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Tutored by Teachers as an Operations Associate.

Camille LuSane obtained a Bachelor's degree in Camille'story from Temple University, a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Montclair State University, and a Master's degree in Camille'story from Rutgers University.
