Christel Verhaert

Christel Verhaert has a diverse range of work experience. Christel started their career as a language instructor at inlingua language school Antwerpen, where they developed their relational and social skills. Christel later became the managing director of inlingua and successfully sold the company after 11 years. Following that, Christel entered the hotel industry as a hotel manager at Louvre Hotels Group, where they gained leadership experience and lived in the Netherlands for 3 years. Christel then worked as a senior HR consultant at RB Selection before joining C&A as a recruitment and training manager. At C&A, they were responsible for various HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, HRIS implementation, and employee development. After C&A, Christel worked as a global talent acquisition and development manager at Agfa HealthCare. Christel then joined Tenneco, where they served as the director of talent acquisition for the EMEA region and later as the global talent acquisition implementation lead. Currently, they hold the position of global talent acquisition director at TVH, a global parts specialist company.

Christel Verhaert completed their Master's degree in Translator Dutch-French-English from Lessius Hogeschool Antwerpen, which they attended from 1987 to 1991. Christel then pursued Operational HR management at Hanze College Zwolle for one year, from 1996 to 1997. In their earlier education, Christel attended Sint-Ludgardis Antwerpen from 1980 to 1986, where they focused on Math-Science (Wetenschappelijke B). Additionally, they obtained certification as a LinkedIn Certified Professional Recruiter in June 2018.
