Minjoon Seo's work experience includes:

- Assistant Professor at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology since 2021.

- Chief Scientist and AI Advisor at Twelve Labs from January 2023 to present. During their tenure, the company achieved first place in the Retrieval Phase of a video search competition.

- AI Advisor at LBox Co., Ltd. starting in March 2020. They developed the machine learning toolset and designed the MLOps pipeline on AWS SageMaker. Their role later shifted to research advising and talent recruitment.

Minjoon Seo pursued their education in a chronological order. Minjoon completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science at the University of Washington from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from the same university from 2013 to 2015. Minjoon began their higher education by earning a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2008 to 2012. Before their university studies, they completed their high school education at St. Andrew's College from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their academic degrees, they obtained a certification for their Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Washington in June 2020.
