Salvatierra began their career at Skype as a Sr. Global Marketing Product Manager in 2013. Melanie was responsible for managing Skype's product marketing strategy and execution for the Americas market. In 2017, Salvatierra joined Arm as their Senior Director of Brand Marketing. In this role, they led the internal brand/creative team and agency partners through a complete rebrand of Arm's look and feel, including the documentation of voice, tone, and brand guidelines. Melanie also managed a global creative team and all created assets to ensure that all marketing images, videos, templates, and other collaterals aligned with Arm's brand and product strategies. Under their leadership, Arm's social media engagement increased against all benchmarks, with higher average CTRs for posts and content publications.

Melanie Salvatierra is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara, Leland High School, and the Kellogg Marketing Course. Melanie has also completed the Managing Upwards Course at Harvard Manage Mentor and the Project Management Course at Cadence Management. Additionally, they are a member of the San Jose Leadership Council and a graduate of Toastmasters.
