Tom Eliaz

Tom Eliaz is the current VP of Engineering for Twilio Engage at Twilio. Prior to their current position, Tom was the Sr. Director of Software Engineering for Cloud at Segment. Tom was also previously with Anki for 7 years, where they oversaw the Cloud teams.

Tom has played a key role in developing and executing long-term, highly technical roadmaps in collaboration with executive leadership, cross-functional colleagues (product, legal, security, compliance), and cloud team. Tom has also delivered on five increasingly complex product releases.

Tom has a deep understanding of AWS, Docker, Go, CI/CD, and light Agile environment. Tom is known for their ability to recruit, retain, and run four-pillar cloud teams, a multi-disciplinary group of exceptional engineers/leaders.

Tom Eliaz has a BSE from the University of Pennsylvania in Computer Science and Engineering. Tom also went to Paul D. Schreiber High School.
