Peter Kleinsmit

Peter Kleinsmit is an accomplished professional in the life sciences sector with extensive experience in sales and business management, particularly in next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies. Currently, Peter serves as the Director of NGS Sales for Americas and EMEA at Twist Bioscience, overseeing sales, field application support, channel partnerships, and OEM for the NGS product line since September 2017. Previous roles include NGS Business Manager for EMEA and European Next Generation Sequencing Specialist at SomaLogic, as well as regional managerial and sales positions at Affymetrix, Vela Diagnostics, Roche Diagnostics, BD, Gyros AB, and GE Healthcare. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology from Saxion University of Applied Sciences, completed in 1989.
