Samuel Stimple, PhD

Samuel Stimple, PhD, currently serves as a Field Application Scientist at Twist Bioscience since August 2022. Previously, Samuel held the role of Senior Scientist in In Vitro Antibody Discovery and Scientist in Antibody Research at Sanofi from September 2019 to July 2022. Prior to that, Samuel was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan from January 2018 to August 2019, focusing on engineering conformation-specific antibodies for detection and diagnostics. Samuel's academic journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The Ohio State University, completed in 2018, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, obtained in 2012. Additionally, Samuel contributed as a University Fellow at The Ohio State University and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Notre Dame, engaging in significant research on protein purification technologies.
