Alex Lam has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Alex started their career as a Summer Intern at EMSD, HKSAR Government in 2015, where they conducted investigations on past accidents and helped establish safety performance indicators.

In 2016, they worked as a Summer Intern at a research institute, where they invented a new image algorithm for naked-eye 3D TVs and developed a test plan.

Afterward, Alex joined WSP as an Assistant Engineer in 2017, where they resolved design issues and served as a key contact person for the Hongkong Land Integrated Security Management System Project. Alex also organized technical seminars with suppliers and contributed to real estate and hospitality projects.

In 2018, they joined AECOM as a Graduate Engineer, working on structured cabling, building management, and data center design. Alex reduced BIM model production time by 75% through automation and played a crucial role in the Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 2 Expansion project.

From 2020 to 2021, Alex worked at Abbott as a Software Engineer, serving as the lead software engineer for BASF Laboratory Management System (LIMS) projects. Alex provided agile development and product support for STARLIMS, refactored and improved performance of application components, and conducted SQL performance tuning.

Most recently, they joined Two as a Software Engineer in 2021.

Alex Lam holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Elements of AI from the University of Helsinki in January 2020.
