Sebastian Guzman

Sebastian Guzman has a strong background in software quality assurance and testing. Sebastian started their career as an Engineer at ZTE Colombia in 2014, where they provided support for communications, help desk, and troubleshooting for corporate clients. After that, they worked as an Analyst QA at Tata Consultancy Services from 2015 to 2017, where they managed requirements, conducted tests, and provided UAT support for Citibank's Corporate Project in Central America.

From 2017 to 2018, Sebastian worked as a Senior Test Analyst and QA Analyst at CBIT - Contact & Business IT, focusing on the migration of banking data for Helm Bank and Corpbanca for the launch of ITAú Bank. Sebastian also performed ETL generation and automation of test scripts.

Sebastian then joined Capgemini Colombia in 2017 as a QA Lead, where they reviewed and approved test cases for the platform change from COBOL to Hadoop for Experian Datacredito.

Sebastian further expanded their experience as a QC Analyst at Globant from 2018 to 2019, where they designed, reviewed, and approved test cases for Java business process automation, and performed tests on mobile devices. Sebastian also worked as a QA Engineer at Blanc Labs in 2019, where they generated and designed test scenarios to be automated, performed functionality reviews, and managed user stories.

In 2019, Sebastian joined Grupo Ditech as a QA Tech Lead, overseeing test case design, performance testing, and certification for e-commerce applications. Sebastian also worked as a Senior Software QA Engineer at Sopra Steria in 2020, designing and generating test cases for mobile application functions and ensuring compatibility with banking flows.

Most recently, Sebastian worked as a Software Engineer at adidas from 2021 to 2022, focusing on software development. Currently, they are employed as a QA Engineer at Tymit, starting in 2022.

Sebastian Guzman attended Universidad ECCI from 2010 to 2019, where they earned a degree in Ingeniería (Engineering) with a specialization in Ingeniería eléctrica y electrónica (Electrical and Electronic Engineering). Prior to that, they obtained a certification as a Tecnologo en Electronica (Electronics Technologist) from SENA in January 2009. In January 2017, Sebastian also obtained a certification in SCRUM FOUNDATION PROFESSIONAL from CertiProf.
