We are seeking a Business Development Associate to join our high-growth, fast-paced home service support and partnership organization. This candidate will play a critical role in generating leads and building a pipeline of potential partnership opportunities for our growing portfolio company, Trusted Home Service Partners (THSP).

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Generate leads through cold and warm calling efforts
  • Build deep pipeline of future acquisition opportunities
  • Outbound prospect qualification and company research
  • Manage and maintain prospect database ensuring accuracy and integrity
  • Work closely with business development team to progress leads through the deal cycle
  • Assist in marketing campaigns
  • Schedule travel and create trip plan for senior members of the BD team
  • Assist in additional administrative tasks as needed
  • Be a team player in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or business development roles
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with business owners
  • Self-motivated and target-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Results-oriented approach with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales productivity tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple prospects and tasks simultaneously
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn about new industries, products, or services
  • Knowledge of market research techniques and industry analysis is a plus
  • Local to the Chicago, IL area/willing to relocate
  • Ability to commute to the Downtown Chicago area 5 days /week

Compensation

  • Base salary of $55,000 plus uncapped commission potential with OTE of around $75-85K
