In-field Services Coordinator at UMWA Health and Retirement Funds

Becky Reed, CHES®, has extensive experience in wellness and health education/promotion for retired coal miners and their dependents, having served in various roles at UMWA Health and Retirement Funds since July 2001. As an In-Field Services Coordinator, Reed focuses on coordinating health initiatives and previously worked as a Senior In-Field Beneficiary Services Representative and In-Field Beneficiary Services Representative, where responsibilities included organizing wellness activities, visiting beneficiaries, and facilitating understanding of benefits. Earlier experience includes a role as a Beneficiary Care Representative, assisting with health benefit inquiries, and as a 911 Dispatcher at Raleigh County E.O.C. and Admissions staff at Raleigh General Hospital. Reed holds a Bachelor of Arts in Health Education from Ashford University and an Associate of Science in Secretarial Sciences with Medical Specialization from Bluefield State College.
