Kirk Phillips

Kirk Phillips, as the Director of the Air Force Office of Energy Assurance since March 2021, integrates energy and water resilience efforts for the United States Air Force, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Previously, as Vice President and Managing Principal at LJB Inc. and during a distinguished 29-year career with the Air Force, including roles such as Associate Chief for Bioenvironmental Engineering, Phillips demonstrated expertise in environmental health, safety management, and policy development. Significant contributions include developing the Total Exposure Health Program, enhancing compliance through management system approaches, and improving safety measures that reduced injury rates significantly. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Engineering and Environmental Management from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
