Stephen Philipson

Stephen Philipson is a seasoned finance executive with extensive experience in banking and capital markets. Currently serving as Head of Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking at U.S. Bank since October 2017, Stephen also holds roles as Senior Executive Vice President, Head of Global Markets & Specialized Finance, and Executive Vice President overseeing various divisions within fixed income and commercial products. Prior to U.S. Bank, Stephen worked at US Bancorp from May 2009 to October 2017 in leadership positions within credit and municipal fixed income, and at Wachovia Securities from March 2005 to May 2009 as a Director in high-grade debt capital markets. Stephen's career began at Morgan Stanley, where responsibilities spanned global capital markets and fixed income trading. Academically, Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and East Asian Studies from Washington and Lee University and completed high school at Isidore Newman School.
