Haley Ashcom Miller has a strong background in government and innovation. Haley has held various roles at the U.S. Census Bureau, including Director of The Opportunity Project, where they oversaw the execution of technology-development sprints and the expansion of the program. Haley also served as the Deputy Director of The Opportunity Project and as an Enterprise Innovation Advisor for the Census Open Innovation Labs. At the Labs, they developed and advised on open innovation programs and maintained stakeholder relationships in the technology and creative industries. Prior to their work at the Census Bureau, Haley served as a Junior Analyst at the United States Department of Defense and as a Recruitment Officer at The Institute of World Politics.
Haley Ashcom Miller completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and National Security Studies from George Mason University in 2014. Haley then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Statecraft and National Security Affairs from the Institute of World Politics from 2014 to 2016. Lastly, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Psychology of Leadership from Penn State University between 2017 and 2020.
