Ricky Powell

Ricky Powell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology management and operations within military and government sectors. Currently serving as the Data Center & Cloud Business Relationship Manager in the Business Operations Division of the U.S. Coast Guard since February 2020, Ricky previously held significant roles including Director of Operational Logistics for Base IT, where support was provided for daily and contingency operations across 16 sites. Ricky’s experience also includes being a Senior Hardware Engineer responsible for Command & Control systems for the Coast Guard's Cutter fleet, and serving in the United States Air Force as a Cyber Transport Craftsman, where expertise in networking and operations was developed. Academically, Ricky holds a Master of Science in Technology Innovation from UW's Global Innovation Exchange and additional advanced degrees in Information Technology Management and Computer Science from Trident University International.
