Michael Rosamond has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Michael started their career in the US Army, where they served as the Chief of Plans and later as an Executive Officer, managing a team of senior managers and overseeing combat operations. Michael then joined Amazon as an Operations Manager, responsible for leading and supervising a team of managers and associates in inbound and outbound operations. Currently, they are working at U.S. Customs and Border Protection as the Director of Workforce Management, providing program management for organizational structure and human resources management. Michael has developed staffing methodology and is involved in various branches related to labor, human resources, and workforce planning.
Michael Rosamond pursued their education in various institutions to enhance their knowledge and skills. Michael began their education at South Carolina State University from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration. In 2002, they attended Webster University and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Information & Resource Management, studying from 2002 to 2004. Rosamond then attended the United States Army Command and General Staff College School of Advanced Military Studies from 2004 to 2005, earning a Master's degree in Strategic Plans and Policy. In 2008, they enrolled at Norwich University to pursue a Master of Science degree in Military History, and their studies in this program continued beyond 2016. Lastly, in 2015, they joined American University for the Senior Executive Developmental Program under the Department of Homeland Security.
