Cassandra M. Law

Cassandra M. Law currently serves as the Assistant Secretary and VA Deputy Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, a role held since April 2022. In this position, Cassandra advises senior leadership on the formulation and execution of department-wide policies and internal operations within the department, which is the second-largest Cabinet department in the federal government, managing a budget exceeding $269 billion and employing over 470,000 individuals across various sectors. Prior to this role, Cassandra was the Chief Operating Officer at the Department of Veterans Affairs - VISN 21. Cassandra holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Performance from the University of Oregon.
