Kurt Delbene

Kurt DelBene is an accomplished technology and business leader with significant experience in both government and industry. DelBene currently serves as the Assistant Secretary for the Office of Information and Technology and Chief Information Officer at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Previously, DelBene held several key positions at Microsoft, including Executive Vice President and President of the Office Division, as well as EVP for Corporate Strategy and Core Services Engineering and Operations. DelBene also contributed to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as a Senior Advisor to the Secretary and serves as a Venture Partner at Madrona Venture Group. Educational credentials include an MBA in Business Administration and Management from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Master's degree in Operations Research from Stanford University.
