Maggie Williams is a Health Science Specialist at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, contributing to the VA hub for Computer Vision in Machine Learning and Precision Oncology since May 2024. Previously, Maggie served as an Assistant Professor of Biology and Department Head at Notre Dame College from January 2013 to May 2024, where leadership included chairing the Faculty Affairs and Development Committee in the 2022-23 academic year. Additional academic roles include visiting and adjunct professorships at various institutions such as Kent State University, Lakeland Community College, Cuyahoga Community College, and Case Western Reserve University. Maggie's early career included a postdoctoral fellowship in the lab of Jeff Gelles at Brandeis University. Maggie holds a PhD in Biochemistry from Case Western Reserve University and a BA in Biology and Psychology from Alfred University.
