Bob DeLuca currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at the US Railroad Retirement Board since November 2024. Prior to this, Bob held the position of Chief Technology Officer at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from January 2021 to November 2024. At GSA from March 2018 to December 2020, Bob was the Acting Director of Technology Transformation Services and the Executive Director of IT Modernization Centers of Excellence, leading initiatives to enhance federal agency performance through advanced technologies. Bob's career includes significant roles such as Chief Information Officer at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, where transformational changes improved operational transparency and efficiency, and ownership of C0LUMB1A Tech Group, where strategic technology development was directed for the Department of State. Other positions include senior consulting roles at RSR and Cachendo, as well as leadership at Virtue Technologies and BearingPoint. Bob's foundational education includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA in Strategy from Drexel University.
