David Spears

David Spears has a extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, primarily in roles related to renal care. David is currently serving as the Regional Vice President for U.S. Renal Care in Ohio, where they lead operational and financial activities and also handles strategy and growth initiatives. Before joining U.S. Renal Care, David worked at Blanchard Valley Health System as the Senior Vice President of Operations, Service Line Director for Oncology and Outpatient Specialty Services, and Director of Outpatient Specialty Services. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Operations at Mercy Health, where they were responsible for financial and operational activities and contributed to the strategy and growth of the Rural Division. David also has experience working at DaVita Kidney Care, where they served as Group, Regional Operations Director and Regional Operations Director, overseeing financial and operational activities for multiple regions in Ohio. David handled various aspects of strategy and growth, including facility development, acquisitions, and collaborations. Early in their career, David held positions at Fresenius Medical Care North America as an Area Manager and Administrative Coordinator. David Spears completed their Executive MBA in Business and Strategy at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business from 2008 to 2009. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Health Administration from Winthrop University, which they attended from 1988 to 1993.
