Operations Manager at U.S. Silica

Levi Bailey has a diverse work experience starting from 2016 as a Construction Laborer at Felix Construction. In 2017, Bailey joined the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology as a Student until 2020. During this time, Bailey also worked as a Mining Engineering Intern at U.S. Silica Company in 2018 and as a Mining Engineer-Intern at Rio Tinto in 2019. In 2020, Bailey took on the role of a Drill and Blast Engineer at The Shelly Company until 2021. Currently, Bailey is working as an Operations Manager at U.S. Silica Company.

Levi Bailey's education history is as follows:

Levi Bailey obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Strategic Management from the University of North Texas from 2022 to 2025. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mining Engineering and Management at South Dakota Mines from 2017 to 2020. Before attending South Dakota Mines, Levi earned another BE degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of Arizona, from 2015 to 2017.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Levi has obtained several certifications. Levi is a Certified Blaster, having been certified by the State of Oklahoma Mining Commission in November 2021. Levi also holds a certification as a Mine Surface Supervisor from the same institution, obtained in September 2021. Lastly, Levi is a sUAS (small Unmanned Aircraft System) Pilot, certified by the Federal Aviation Administration in June 2020.
