Sarah Crooker

Sarah Crooker has extensive experience in development and foundation relations. Sarah has worked at uAspire for several years, starting as a Development Manager in 2014 and progressing to Senior Vice President Development. In this role, they have been promoted multiple times and has played a crucial role in the organization's growth from $5M to $10M+ in annual revenue. Sarah oversees national Foundation, Corporate, and Business Development functions. Sarah has built and maintained relationships with a portfolio of corporate and foundation supporters and has secured multi-year and seven-figure gifts from sources such as the Barr Foundation and Salesforce.

Before joining uAspire, Sarah had various roles including Vice President, External and Foundation Relations, Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, and Director of Development Operations and Strategy. Sarah also has experience at MassINC, Plum Productions LLC, Citizens for Juvenile Justice, Student Peace Alliance, Boston Mobilization, The Cardiovascular Specialists, and U.S Representative William Delahunt.

Sarah Crooker earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Public and Non-Profit Management from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. Sarah completed their MBA program from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, Sarah attended Brandeis University from 2004 to 2008, where they graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Sarah'sundergraduate studies included majors in Sociology, Politics, and Education Studies. Additionally, in 2007, Sarah participated in a Study Abroad Program in International Organizations at the School for International Training in Geneva, Switzerland.

Sarah Crooker also holds a certification in Nonprofit Management and Leadership, which they obtained from the Institute for Nonprofit Practice in May 2021.
