Markus Bold has extensive experience in the chemical industry, currently serving as the Managing Director and Vice President at Chemovator GmbH since October 2018. In addition, Markus Bold is a Board Member at UBench and a member of the Supervisory Board for 1000 Satellites GmbH, representing Chemovator GmbH as an investor. Recently, Markus Bold held roles as Managing Director at BASF Venture Capital GmbH, Board Member at BigRep, and Chairman of the Supervisory Board at baseclick. Prior to the current roles, Markus Bold had a significant tenure at BASF from 2001 to 2018, progressing through various leadership positions focused on innovation strategy, new business development, and product management. Markus Bold holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from The Philipp University of Marburg and has experience as an exchange student in Inorganic Chemistry at Heriot-Watt University.
