Samuel Frakes

Samuel Frakes has a diverse work experience that spans from 2016 to the present. Samuel started their career as a Medical Scribe at PhysAssist Scribes, Inc. from September 2016 to April 2018.

In 2020, Samuel worked as a Software Engineer at Open Source. Samuel contributed to the development of several projects, including "pair/a\dice," which is a collaborative code editor for pair programming using websockets and OAuth 2.0 security. Samuel also worked on "Gifted," a mobile app built with React Native that connects people looking to give with those in need. Additionally, Samuel contributed to "iStretch," a random stretch generator using JavaScript and React.

Since 2020, Samuel has been working as a Software Engineer at SeeQR. Samuel has developed an offline, cross-platform desktop application using Node.js and Electron. Samuel implemented test-driven development (TDD) with Jest/Enzyme and utilized Docker for streamlined development. Samuel used PostgreSQL to create ACID-compliant databases and TypeScript for better bug detection. Samuel also worked on the frontend using React and implemented performant backend functionality using Node.js and Electron's IPC channels.

In 2021, Samuel joined Ubiety Technologies, Inc. as a Software Engineer.

From 2012 to 2016, Samuel Frakes attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering.
