Hardaway Peng

Senior Software Engineer at Ubiquiti

Hardaway Peng began their work experience in 2006 as a Software Engineer at Compal Communications, Inc., where they integrated BREW environment into CDMA mobile phones and launched successful CDMA projects. Hardaway also served as the BREW Function Leader, leading a team in completing tasks related to porting the BREW environment.

In 2009, Hardaway joined HTC as a Senior Engineer and later as a Principal Engineer in the Application Framework. Hardaway led a team in developing the HTC Android Performance Tool and constructed a memory profiling tool for debugging HTC 3D graphic UI framework. Additionally, they enhanced the HTC 3D graphic UI framework used in HTC Sense.

Hardaway then moved on to BSQUARE in 2014 as a Senior Application Software Engineer. There, they led the application team in completing the first Android app for BSQUARE in the wearable app segment of the IoT business. Hardaway also provided technical consultation on Android and offered customer technical support for the TestQuest product.

Since 2016, Hardaway has been working as a Senior Software Engineer at Ubiquiti Inc. Hardaway serves as the app architect, designing architecture and providing technical consultation for multiple Android devices and mobile apps. Hardaway developed an Android IoT app to control LED systems.

Throughout their career, Hardaway Peng has gained expertise in Android development and has contributed to various projects, leading teams and applying their technical knowledge.

Hardaway Peng earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Central University, where they attended from 2000 to 2004. Hardaway later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in the Department of Computer Science from National Chengchi University, studying from 2004 to 2006.
