Pavel Chekhau

Pavel Chekhau has a diverse and extensive work experience in software engineering, particularly in iOS app development. Starting in 2014, they worked as a Web Developer, specializing in PHP, at the IT center of Belarusian State Medical University. During this time, they developed and designed the intranet student's site and created a new version of the University's Medical Magazine. Pavel also developed a website module for comments and posts with social media login integration.

In 2015, Pavel joined DreamTeam Mobile, LLC as a Xamarin Mobile Developer, where they focused on cross-platform mobile application development for the Taxi Gorod application. Pavel integrated a new Maps SDK and developed new user flows for ordering taxis. Pavel collaborated with the UI/UX team to deliver the best user experience.

In 2017, Pavel transitioned to EGO CREATIVE INNOVATIONS as an iOS App Developer, working on mobile application development for customers from the USA and Europe. Pavel developed several applications from scratch and implemented an augmented reality application called Pinmi. Additionally, they created a UI framework with customizable iOS controls for Xamarin developers.

From 2019 to 2021, Pavel worked as a Senior Software Engineer, iOS, at Geek-Solutions LLC, focusing on mobile iOS application development for B2B customers. Pavel developed and launched three applications for big fueling companies and built a lightweight MVVM framework for future applications. Pavel gained experience in analyzing business tasks and effectively communicating with stakeholders.

In 2020, Pavel joined ScienceSoft as a Senior Software Engineer, iOS, where they worked on various iOS projects for customers from the USA and EU. Notably, they created an iOS app for people with mental health issues, providing them with access to therapists and video calls.

Currently, Pavel holds the position of Lead Software Engineer, iOS, at Ubiquiti Inc. Pavel is responsible for supporting and developing iOS apps for the AmpliFi/UniFi product line. Pavel has integrated HomeKit into the AmpliFi app and redesigned an existing application to receive positive feedback. Pavel has also expanded their knowledge in networking and VPN apps.

Throughout their career, Pavel has acquired extensive technical skills in Swift, RxSwift, RxCocoa, GCD, CoreLocation, UIKit, Alamofire, Auth0, and more. Pavel has a strong background in UI and business-logic implementation, architectural decisions, and backend API and SDK integration. Pavel has consistently demonstrated their ability to deliver high-quality solutions and collaborate effectively with UI/UX and backend teams.

Pavel Chekhau obtained their Master's degree in Preventive Medicine from Belarusian State Medical University, where they studied from 2010 to 2016. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Xamarin University, Cisco IT Essentials, and CCNA Routing and Switching, although the specific months and years of completion are not provided.
