Process Engineer at Ubiquiti

Scar Chen has a diverse work experience in the engineering and manufacturing industry. Scar started their career as a Production Supervisor at Taiwan Mask Corp, where they managed and trained technical operators, solved machine issues, and analyzed quality defects. Scar then worked as a Project Manager at Liow Ko Co. Ltd., where they were responsible for liaising between company divisions and clients, programming and fine-tuning machinery for production, and creating engineering reports. Scar then joined Quanta Computer Inc. as a Technical Project Manager, where they researched and proposed the best technology for injection molding, planned and executed tooling trials, and developed content and presentations for the Tooling Business Unit. Scar later moved to Foxconn, where they worked for 10 years as a Production Technology Assistant Manager and Technical Project Manager. In these roles, Scar managed technical projects related to laptop, tablet, and mobile phone development, conducted technical development and FATP, and assisted with production technology. Scar is currently working at Ubiquiti Networks as a Process Engineer, where they review CM SOP and FATP line setup, evaluates cycle time and manpower demand, collaborates with CM to optimize the FATP line, and ensures transfer models will produce correctly.

Scar Chen attended Da-Yeh University from 1992 to 1997 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
