Liz Ohlhausen has over 17 years of work experience. Liz started their career in 2002 as a Peer Mentor at San Jose State University, where they assisted professors in designing appropriate coursework, made presentations, tutored students in English, math, and technology. In 2003, they moved to Starbucks Coffee Company as a Shift Supervisor, where they supervised 3+ baristas, delivered legendary service, and created a 3rd place environment. In 2008, they worked as a Short Term Consultant at the World Bank, providing them with credible, independent documentation of their projects at a grass roots level. That same year, they also worked as an ISP Intern at Salzburg Seminar, where they enhanced the online presence to maintain a community of alumni. In 2010, they were a Community Manager at Ooga Labs, where they identified relevant audiences on the web and created messages for those audiences. In 2011, they served as Principle of Liz Ohlhausen, where they created Owl House Media to aid smaller companies and passionate individuals who do not have access to the tools and internal staff that larger companies do. In 2013, they were an Assistant Store Manager at World Kitchen, and in 2014, they were promoted to Store Manager at World Kitchen, LLC, where they oversaw day-to-day operations of the highest volume store in the company and increased sales over budget and over the prior year. From 2015 to 2018, Liz worked at Newport Group as a Relationship Manager and Client Services Representative, and from 2018 to present, they have been a Team Lead - Payroll Processing and Client Success Specialist at Ubiquity Retirement + Savings.

Liz Ohlhausen received a Master of Arts degree in Global Citizenship from San Jose State University in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in German from San Jose State University in 2007.
