Ashar Siddiqui

Ashar Siddiqui, PMP, ITIL has over 18 years of work experience in the IT industry. Ashar is currently serving as the Head of IT and Business Innovation at UBL Fund Managers since June 2018. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of IT at Greenstar Social Marketing Pakistan (Guarantee) Limited from July 2015 to June 2018. Ashar also held various positions at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, including Senior Manager IT from June 2011 to June 2015, Manager IT from June 2008 to May 2011, and Senior Software Engineer from January 2006 to May 2008. Ashar started their career as a Software Engineer at Excel Solutions Inc from August 2004 to December 2005 and then at Algorithm Consulting from November 2002 to July 2004. Throughout their career, Ashar Siddiqui has demonstrated their proficiency in project management, IT leadership, and software engineering.

Ashar Siddiqui has a post-graduate diploma in Big Data Analytics from the Institute of Business Administration, which they obtained in 2019. Ashar also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the same institute, completed between 2014 and 2016. In addition, Ashar has a Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) degree from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, earned from 1999 to 2002.

In terms of certifications, Ashar has obtained multiple certifications including VMware Certifications from Udemy (2023), CCNA Switching Routing and Wireless Essentials, CCNAv7: Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation, and CCNAv7: Introduction to Networks from the Cisco Networking Academy (2021). Ashar has also obtained the ITIL Foundation certification from EXIN in 2013 and the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2010.
