Tonya Adams

Tonya Adams, CPC, currently serves as the US Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at UCB since November 2020, where responsibilities include building and executing enterprise strategies that align with global business goals and enhancing the efficacy of Employee Resource Groups. Prior to this role, Tonya held various positions at Anthem, Inc., including Director of Diversity & Inclusion, where strategic direction and management of a metrics-driven D&I strategy were key focuses. Other notable roles at Anthem included Director of Training & Development, Standards & Governance Manager, and Manager II of Learning & Development, where Tonya implemented impactful training solutions and governance models. Tonya holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Alcorn State University and a Diversity and Inclusion certificate from Cornell University ILR School.
