Marion Gebistorf

Marion Gebistorf has extensive work experience in various roles related to sports event management and operations. Marion currently serves as the Chief Operations Officer at Pareto Sports SA since 2020. Prior to this, Marion worked at UEFA for nearly a decade, holding positions such as Venue Operations and Broadcast Manager, Club Competitions Commercial and Broadcast Operations Manager, and Club Competitions Commercial Operations Coordinator. Marion was also involved in the host broadcast operations for major events like EURO 2020 and EURO 2016. Marion has worked at other organizations, including Eurosport, T.E.A.M. Marketing AG, International Ski Federation, and various sports associations, where they held roles such as Broadcast Venue Manager, Signage Coordinator, Communication Coordinator, and Team Manager. Marion also has experience in online marketing and teaching English. Throughout their career, Marion Gebistorf has demonstrated a strong focus on sports event management, operations, broadcast, and commercial coordination.

Marion Gebistorf has a diverse educational background. In 2004, they obtained a BA in Sports Science from James Cook University.

In 2008, Marion pursued further education and obtained a Master of Advanced Studies from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). During this program, they studied Management & Economics, Technology, Law, Sociology, and Medicine.

In addition to their degrees, Marion has also obtained a variety of certifications. In 2004, they received a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) from the University of Cambridge. In 2007, they obtained a Certificado de Proficiência em Língua Portuguesa para Estrangeiros (Celpe-Bras) from the Ministério da Educação, Brasil, indicating their proficiency in the Portuguese language. They also obtained a Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE) from the Instituto Cervantes in 2007, demonstrating their proficiency in the Spanish language.
