Brooks Jay

Brooks Jay has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Brooks began their career in 2004 as a Small Group Leader at Teen CBS, where they remained until 2008. In 2008, Brooks joined Carnival Cruise Lines as a Guest Service Specialist until 2009. Brooks then transitioned to InsureZone, where they worked in Commercial Lines Underwriting from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, Brooks held the position of Ambassador at Lubbock Chamber of Commerce until 2014. During this time, they also worked as a Producer at Alan Henry Insurance Agency, specializing in first-time home buyers. In 2014, Brooks joined Apogee Insurance Group, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, as an Agency Representative. In this role, they conducted customer visits, prospecting for new customers, and driving submission and premium production. Brooks also developed promotional materials and monitored customer production. Finally, in 2017, Brooks began working as a Marketing Representative at UFG Insurance.

Brooks Jay's education history begins in 1999 when they attended Midland Lee High School. Brooks graduated from high school in 2003, and then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Management at Texas Tech University - Rawls College of Business. Brooks completed their degree in 2008. In 2011, Brooks attended the PaceSetter Producer Development Conference, where they obtained a certificate in Personal Lines Coverage Specialist (PLCS).
