Troy J.

Troy J. has a diverse work experience starting from their time as a Student Assistant at the University of Florida Research Foundation in 2010. Troy then worked at Nationwide Insurance as a Field Claims Specialist I, where they developed standard operating procedures for evaluating diminution of value claims for leased vehicles. After that, they joined Cabrillo Coastal General Insurance Agency, LLC, where they held the positions of Underwriter I and Underwriter II, responsible for reviewing insurance applications and managing the volume and profitability of homeowner's products. Later, Troy worked at Tower Hill Insurance Group as a Commercial Lines Underwriter until 2022 when they joined FCCI Insurance Group as a Commercial Lines Underwriter. Currently, they are working as a Corporate Underwriting Analyst II at UFG Insurance since January 2023.

Troy J. attended the University of Florida from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Food and Resource Economics and Business Administration. In addition to their formal education, Troy has obtained several certifications. In March 2018, they received the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation from The Institutes. In May 2018, Troy also completed the Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) program offered by The Institutes. Most recently, in February 2020, they achieved the CPCU in Good Standing certification from the same institution.
