We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our mechanical division.

Position Description:

The ideal candidate has excellent organizational and communication skills, is capable of multitasking, and has strong attention to detail.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop cost estimates for piping and plumbing projects based on plans, drawings, and specifications

  • Analyze bids and recommend solutions

  • Research applicable codes for projects

  • Prepare and submit proposals and related documents

  • Monitor progress of projects and maintain cost records

  • Work closely with contractors and other stakeholders

  • Identify and report cost savings opportunities

  • Assist with post-project evaluations

  • Performing other duties assigned by the division manager in an orderly and efficient manner

 Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years of HVAC, plumbing, or piping project management experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Understanding of operational concepts including: planning; scheduling; and logistics
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure with multiple projects
  • Understanding of HVAC systems
