We are currently seeking a Trainer to join our team!

Position Description:

In this entry level position, you will be our point of contact to provide training for building automation controls projects.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide training to customers for new construction, retrofits, and service contracts as well as new Uhl Company employees. The training will typically consist of the Web browser interface and the appropriate software.
  • Inform the project team of any incomplete work, corrections, or possible changes to the system that have been identified during the training process. The Trainer may also support the Operations or Service department when required.
  • Provide initial on-boarding of all new technicians on the appropriate software applications and other items that are required to perform their duties.
  • Communicate with the Sales department on regular basis to inform them of all training appointments, and to help to identify any possible sales or service opportunities and to make any account recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for the different types of training. The Trainer will be responsible for updating the customer site IP address lists, and maintaining all technical literature both electronically and hard copy.
  • Maintain a log of all computers and software sold to customers and will ensure that the customers receive any included documentation.
  • Demonstrate ability to cope with stress and maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers.
  • Independent time management appropriate to the needs for project completion and determines the urgency of the requirement.
  • Continually adhere to Uhl Company’s established safety standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have at least 2 years customer service experience.
  • Computer knowledge – Experience with Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to speak in front of large groups.
  • IT, Technical and HVAC Systems experience a huge plus (but not required).
