Low Voltage Account Manager

Uhl Company is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Low Voltage Account Manager to join our growing team. As a Low Voltage Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales of our comprehensive low voltage solutions, including security systems, fire alarms, access control, CCTV, data networks, and audio-visual equipment. Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Generation:
    • Identify and prospect new clients in various industries who could benefit from our low voltage solutions.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their needs and present suitable low voltage solutions.
    • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proposals to effectively communicate the value and benefits of our offerings.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to achieve or exceed sales targets.
    • Utilize CRM software to manage and track sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management.
  2. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business requirements and recommending tailored low voltage solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technicians, project managers, and support staff, to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge.
  3. Market Analysis and Business Development:
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities, market trends, and customer needs.
    • Develop strategic partnerships and alliances with relevant industry stakeholders to expand our market presence.
    • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our low voltage solutions and establish new business relationships.
  4. Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
    • Prepare regular sales reports, including pipeline status, sales activity, and revenue projections.
    • Collaborate with the sales management team to provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to the development of sales strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in low voltage sales, preferably within the security, fire, and access control industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of low voltage systems, including security systems, fire alarms, access control, CCTV, data networks, and audio-visual equipment.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
