Orlando Herrera

Orlando Herrera is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in program and project management within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Program Management for the Behavioral Health Division at Universal Health Services since March 2021, Orlando leads large-scale initiatives aimed at enhancing hospital quality, service, and financial performance. Prior to this role, Orlando held various leadership positions at UnitedHealth Group, including Vice President of Optum Emerging Operations and Vice President of Operations Quality, where responsibilities encompassed operational quality programs and executive support for business development. Earlier career highlights include overseeing significant operational roles at GE Money Americas, Amerix Corporation, JPMorgan Chase & Co., and Citi Group. Orlando holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University and a Health Care MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
