About the Opportunity 

UJA’s Integrated Development team is looking to amplify our fundraising efforts by building a hub for all data, analytics and reporting needs. This team will be the lifeblood of the Integrated Development team.  We are seeking a Senior Manager, Data, Analytics & Reporting to support the Director, Data, Analytics and Reporting with the following mandate: 1) elevating how we collect, analyze & use data, 2) streamlining and improving the effectiveness of our reporting 3) building processes and mechanisms to proactively analyze and leverage our data to inform key UJA priorities and strategy.   

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  

  • Implement the processes and tools to effectively capture, streamline and analyze data from all across UJA to help drive insight and action.

  • Work with the Salesforce team to build value added reporting processes and reports to help guide decision making and forward-looking strategy.

  • Key point of contact for the Integrated Development team to help identify key analytical priorities and needs, mining data to identify trends and insight, offering expertise and strategic guidance for key programs and initiatives.

  • Tracking and reporting on all key department and fundraising metrics, as well as ROI on key initiatives, events and programs.

  • Work with Salesforce team to improve the usability and effectiveness of Salesforce tool.

  • Ensure donor data accuracy in Salesforce and working with key members of the Integrated Development team to streamline dashboards and initiative reporting.

  • Support the Director, Data, Analytics and Reporting on pulling information monthly to help with reporting and communication with the Senior Leadership Team and Board.

  • Point of contact to pull data required to support the needs of the Integrated Development team.

  • Work in collaboration with Director, Strategic Operations to help step change processes and operations for the Integrated Development team.

  • Ad hoc analysis and other duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications: 

  • Post-secondary degree, or equivalent experience 8+ years' relevant work experience, primarily in data and process driven roles.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to quickly build rapport with colleagues

  • Experience overseeing lay volunteers and committees considered an asset

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a busy environment

  • Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and associated functions

  • Willingness and ability to learn additional applications and platforms as needed

  • Knowledge of Salesforce an asset

  • Proactive with excellent organizational, prioritizing and time-management skills

  • A self-starter able to leverage his/her knowledge, skills and experience to manage complex change from start to finish

  • Ability to manage complex projects and budgets, working collaboratively with staff as well as with multiple stakeholders to deliver results

  • An ability to think strategically and critically, developing strategic plans that achieve organizational objectives

  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making and analytical capabilities with excellent attention to detail

  • Enthusiasm, creativity, innovation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality

  • Familiarity with non-profits, the Toronto Jewish community and/or experience in Jewish Communal Service considered an asset

This is a full-time permanent position. At UJA we support a flexible work schedule, and all of our employees engage in hybrid work.
